We are selling 10,000,000 depositary shares (the "Depositary Shares") each representing 1/1,000 of a 4.100% Cumulative Preferred Share of Beneficial Interest, Series S (the "Preferred Shares"). The Preferred Shares represented by the Depositary Shares will be deposited with Computershare Trust Company, N. A., as depositary.
Use of proceeds: Net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including to fund acquisitions of self-storage facilities and redemptions of the company's preferred shares.
